The cabin is rather cramped for four passengers and the trim materials are dour to look at. Standard kit is miserly, despite a recent face-lift.

The Vectra is a stylish, good-to-drive family or fleet car, with a much improved interior and far more space. It was our Family Car of the Year 2003 in hatch form.
